Hi! I'm Christina; a 90's kid born in North Carolina, raised in Massachusetts, and currently living in AUSTIN, TEXAS. Photographer, EMT, wife, dog mom, traveler, outdoor enthusiast & adventure addict.

Summertime is my JAM. Hiking, kayaking, hitting the beach and exploring new places are some of my favorite things. During the colder months you can find me cozied up inside, probably rewatching New Girl and How I Met Your Mother or playing Overwatch on PlayStation.

How did I get started with photography?

Okay, let me be REAL with you. Like other photographers, I have loved taking photos as long as I can remember, BUT what truly sparked my passion was my wedding day! Like some of the horror stories you hear: We hired a very low budget photographer, which resulted in few savable images. This gave me the drive to do better and make it my goal to give other couples and families photos they can cherish forever. Whatever the occasion, these are moments you want to look back on for the rest of your life, and I want to be able to provide that for you!

Where did With Rain & Light come from?



"Rain" comes from my middle name Danbi, which means "sweet rain" in Korean. (Did I mention I am half Korean?) And "light" because you absolutely need light to capture photos. So, I wanted to give credit where it was due. Huge fan of following that natural light! And that's the story.
